김현철 목사(Pastor Giacomo)는 1972년에 태어나 한국외국어대학교를 졸업 후 총신대 신학대학원에서 신학을 공부했다. 사랑의교회 (당시 옥한흠 담임목사) 대학부에서 신앙의 기초를 쌓았으며, 1990년 선교한국 대회를 통해 선교사로 헌신했다. 사랑의교회 청년 대학부 교역자로 섬기던 중 나이 삼십이 되기 전에 풀타임 선교사로 나가겠다는 서원을 지켜 27세가 되던 해, IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students) 소속 선교사로 이태리로 파송받았다. 이후 8년을 사역하며 대학생 선교와 이태리 현지인 교회를 목회했다. 2010년 부터 6년간 버지니아 소재 와싱톤 중앙장로교회에서 부목사로 섬긴 후 2016년 1월부터 피츠버그 한인중앙교회의 부르심을 받아 담임목사로 사역한 후 2019년 8월, ‘부름받고 보냄받은’ 피츠버그 한인 장로교회를 개척해 젊은이들과 이민자들에게 복음을 전해 예수님의 제자삼고, 지역과 열방을 섬기는 사역을 위해 행복하게 쓰임받고 있다. 아내 이애랑과 1997년에 결혼하여 슬하에 수빈 (2000년생, 여), 준하 (2004년생, 남)를 두었다.

Born in 1972, he graduated from HUFS (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) and studied in Chongshin Theological Seminary. He served as a pastor of the College and Young-Adults Group in Sarang Community Church (Senior Pastor Han Hum Oak at the time). When he was 27, he was sent to Italy as a missionary, fulfilling his vow to the Lord that he would go to a foreign country as a missionary before he reached the age of 30. There he ministered an Italian local church and directed groups of Italian and international students as a staff of IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students) and GBU (Gruppi Biblical Universitari). After his years as a missionary, he worked as a pastor of KCPC (Korean Central Presbyterian Church) in Virginia for six years. He worked in Korean Central Church of Pittsburgh (KCCP) since January 2016. He is presently serving in Pittsburgh Korean Presbyterian Chruch (PKPC) where he has planted for sharing the Gospel with students and immigrants. He defines himself as a disciple-maker and Kingdom-builder. He married Aerang Lee in 1997 and had two children, Jackie (Subin, 2000) and Max (Giun Ha, 2004).
